UN Women - ‘16 Days of Activism’ | Lou’s Place

A short film documenting a public activist event organised by Lou's Place Women’s Shelter as part of the UN Women's '16 Days of Activism', 2023. The vigil was held in Sydney in late November and was intended to boost awareness around gender-based violence. I conducted and hosted short interviews with the organisation’s board members, staff and volunteers on the day. Speeches presented by key figures including Australian journalist and author Jess Hill and board member Rebecca Fitzpatrick were captured for inclusion within the film.
