Kubu Damai is a hospitality start-up based in the heart of Bali, focused on creating a thoughtful and ethical approach to exploring Balinese culture.

When we first started working together, the founders lacked professional photography, written content, and a clear vision for the online visual identity of their brand.

Utilising my background in film and marketing, I worked with them to develop an approach to photography and imagery that would highlight the best aspects of their business, allowing them to develop a clear brand aesthetic, bringing their vision to life. In addition, I wrote copy for the website - choosing fonts and design elements that would fit their style.

The end result is a site that blends a polished, professional design with a welcoming, down-to-earth energy. It captures the essence of their brand and the founders’ personalities, while keeping things simple, clear, and easy to navigate.
